Improve Credit Score – After Identity Theft

  • Nelly Brown

It is true that identity-theft is on the rise. Recently, my sister became a victim of identity-theft. Her credit card PIN number was stolen. She was not even aware of it. One day, my sister received a credit card bill and found that she has been charged $10,000 for purchasing some luxury items. She was completely shocked.

She called the credit card company and asked about the charge. The credit card company explained that she has purchased some designer gowns and accessories a week before. My sister replied that she didn’t buy it. The credit card company just refused to believe my sister. Finally, she had to sort out the matter with the help from an attorney.
